Please find below a list of our important school dates. You can also look at our school calendar section for the school holidays for the current and next year.
September

9th - Education Sunday - The first Sunday back after term starts is Education Sunday, where school will celebrate Catholic education with the parish during 11am mass.

13th - YF Reading Evening - Parents of YF children are invited to a Reading information evening at 7pm in the school hall.

14th - Mini Vinnie Mass - Our Mini Vinnies will attend a mass with the Bishop at St Anne's Cathedral this morning.
October

Week of 1st October: Positive Psychology Week - During this week pupils learn: how to be happy, how to manage stress and negative feelings, how to make positive relationships and how to raise their self-esteem. It is a happy, smiley week in school.

8th October: Cross-Country Competition - For pupils in Y4, 5 and 6.

11th October: YF Welcome Liturgy - Father Newman will be in school this afternoon at 2pm to help us formally welcome our new YF pupils in a service based on Baptism. YF will be supported by their Y6 buddy during the service.

12th October: Non-uniform Day - Organised by the Mini-Vinnie to raise funds for the DEC's Indonesia Appeal. It is £1 to come to school in non-uniform.

13th October: St. Edward's Feast Day.

18th October: Athletics Competition - The local cluster heat of Athletics for Y5 and Y6 pupils.

25th October: The Big Sing - Y6 will join children from other primary schools at the "The Big Sing Liturgy Thing."
November

8th November: Votive Mass for All Saints - School will join the parish for mass this morning to celebrate All Saints (as this feast days occurs during our half-term holiday).

8th November: Y5 Fire Talk - The fire brigade will visit this afternoon to talk to Y5 pupils about fire safety.

12th November: Day of Mercy - Pupils will celebrate a themed "Day of Mercy" today, picking up on themes from 2016's Year of Mercy. They will do a range of creative, cross-curricular activities on this theme.

14th November: C5 Trip to Jewish Heritage Centre - Class 5 will visit the centre as part of their multi-faith learning about Judaism. They will experience a village/shtetl tour, do some arts and crafts and tour the synagogue, handling a range of artefacts.

27th November: Digital Leaders Apple Trip - The Digital Leaders will visit the Apple store in Leeds, putting a range of their IT skills into action.
December

11th December: Advent Presentation - Performances at 2pm and 7pm.

14th December: Christmas Jumper Day - Wear your Christmas jumpers today for £1; proceeds to Save the Children.

18th December: Senior Parishioners Christmas Party - All our senior parishioners and grandparents are welcome to our annual Christmas party from 2pm in the school hall.

19th December: Children's Christmas Party - The Freinds will run the children's Christmas party this afternoon.
