Please find below a list of our important school dates. You can also look at our school calendar section for the school holidays for the current and next year.

1st: Ash Wednesday - Father Ingwell will be in school today to celebrate an Ash Wednesday service with us.

2nd: Cross-Country Final - Our Y5 Girls team, and Fergus Conway, from Y4 will take part in the Leeds Final of the Cross-country.

6th: Y1 School Trip - Today Class 1 will visit the Thackray Museum in Leeds, as part of their history studies.

7th: Class 4 Trip - Pupils in Class 4 are going to Armley Mills as part of their history curriculum.

8th: Young Leaders Training - Some of our Y5 pupils will be at Boston Spa High School today, training to be young sports leaders.

9th: Fair Trade Day - Pupils will learn all about Fair Trade, and why it is so important, during this themed day in school.

10th: YF Cake Stall - YF will be raising money for charity, as part of our Lenten Almsgiving, by holding a cake sale today.

13th: Science Day - We are holding a themed Science Day in school, where the curriculum will be dedicated to science only. Some of our parents, who are scientists, will be in school to run workshops with each class. Today, YF will also receive eggss, which they will watch turn into chicks.

13th: Gymnastics Competition: We have both a Y3/4, and a Y5/6 team, taking part in a gymnastics competition today.

14th: Skipping Festival- Y2 will be at John Smeaton, enjoying a skipping competition and festival.

14th: Fire Safety Talk - The fire brigade will be in school to talk to Y5 all about fire safety.

16th: YF Stay and Play - YF parents are welcome into school this morning to play alongside their children.

16th: Y3 Lenten Activities - Y3 will be organising stalls in the hall, in order to raise money for charities.

22nd: Tennis Competition - One team from Y3/4 and two teams from Y5 will take part in a local tennis competition this afternoon.

23rd: C4 Skipping Festival: This morning, Class 4 will be competing in a skipping competition and festival at Corpus Christi High School.

23rd: Lenten Fundraising - Class 1 will organise a dress-up day for Lenten fundraising, while Class 4 will run stalls in the hall during the afternoon.

23rd: E-Safety Workshop for Parents - To be held in the hall this evening - more details to come out by letter.

29th: Work our in class - Parents are invited in to school to views their child'd work, from 3.40pm to 4.15pm.

30th: Class 2 Trip - Pupils in Class 2 are visiting the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, in support of their Art Curriculum.

31st: Non-Uniform Day - In return for items for the Friends.


3rd: Washing of the Feet - In morning prayers at 9.05am 5th: Veneration of the Cross - In morning prayers at 9.05am.

6th: Passion Play - Y6 will present the Easter story through dance, song and drama, at 9.15am today.

25th: Parent's Evening - From 3.40pm in the school hall. Children's work will be out to view.

Week of 8th: Y5 Bikeability - This week our Y5 pupils will undertake their cycling proficiency.

18th: YF Stay and Play - Parents are invited into Class F to play alongside their child.

23rd: YF Trip - Class F will be visiting Hesketh Farm today.

25th: Feast of the Ascension
